Our vision, values & purpose
Our vision:
“Kia ngākau titikaha te taiohi mō te anamata te take”
This vision was developed in partnership with our Youth Advisory Group, with the leadership of member Meadow Hussey. Our vision reflects our aspiration for taiohi to be grounded in who they are, strong in their sense of self, and unwavering in their ability to lead their own futures. At its core, our vision recognises the strength, potential, and voice of young people, and their power to shape a strong future for themselves, their community, and generations to come.
Our Values:
Whanaungatanga
We prioritise building genuine, trusting relationships that enable taiohi to feel safe, seen and connected. We also foster strong relationships within our team, working collaboratively, communicating openly, and supporting one another.
Manaakitanga
We uphold the dignity and identity of all taiohi and honour their lived experiences. We value the wellbeing of our staff, encourage balance, and create a culture where people feel supported, safe and appreciated.
Whai Wāhitanga
We recognise taiohi as the core experts in their own lives and create space for all taiohi to participate and make decisions about the services and actions that affect them.
Ngākau Titikaha
We support all taiohi to stand firm with heart and confidence. Internally we are driven by our commitment to our mission, values, and people - regardless of challenges.
Our Purpose:
Journeying alongside taiohi in Pōneke, providing accessible, wraparound health and wellbeing support.
Supporting young people ages 10 - 24.
Evolve is a Youth One Stop Shop (YOSS), supporting rangatahi in Te Whanganui-a-Tara to thrive, connecting them to timely, accessible and engaging health, wellbeing and support services.
Our dedicated Healthcare, Social Support, Counselling and Admin teams support over 4,000 young people in the Wellington area.

To access any of our services you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Must be aged between 10 - 23 years, 11 months.
Must be a NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Must be living in Wellington (excludes Hutt Valley, Porirua, and Kapiti Coast) or have no fixed housing.
Must not be studying at Victoria University, Massey University, or any tertiary institution / university with a student health service.
