Below Evolve has compiled a list of information and support services we believe are important for young people to know and be able to access if they need.
Support available through pharmacies.
Some pharmacies can provide medication for certain conditions without a doctor’s prescription. Check with your pharmacy to see if they can help.
Conditions that can be treated by pharmacist-only medication:
Cramps
Eye infections
Fungal infections of the toe or fingernails
Hayfever/rhinitis
Haemorrhoids
Mouth ulcers
Nausea caused by migraine
Skin problems such as itching, rashes, inflamed fungal infections
Thrush of the mouth and vagina
Warts
Emergency contraception pills can be accessed through some pharmacies (consider calling pharmacy first to check).
Vaccines.
