If you had to introduce yourself in one paragraph, what would you say?
Kia ora, I’m Polly. I grew up in Porirua with two parents and two sisters. My early career switched between the public service and international community development. I made the move to counselling because I love coming alongside others and seeing them accessing their strengths, making sense of their experiences and growing towards their own goals.

When I’m not working, I love to spend time with friends and family – particularly when it involves food, the beach or a long walk in nature.

What is your favorite food?
Is it cheating to just say brunch?

If you weren’t in your current role, what would you be?
When I was younger I really wanted to be an author. So realistically in an office job trying to finish my book on the weekends

A bit of a teacher’s pet

The beanie my husband knitted for me when we first started dating
