I loved Alvin and the Chipmunks so much as a kid that I ended up naming my cats Alvin and Theodore.

If you had to introduce yourself in one paragraph, what would you say?
Kia Ora, I’m Kelly! I’m from Upper Hutt, and I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Health Promotion at Te Herenga Waka. I’m the eldest of two children in my family and also have two cats and two dogs. I’m a big netball fan (I have been playing netball for 13 years), and I enjoy watching Formula 1 races. My favourite thing to do is rewatch Twilight or The Hunger Games on a rainy day in bed with my cats.

What is your favorite food?
Tiny Teddies (specifically milk chocolate).

Who is your celebrity crush?
Dylan O’Brien (Especially in the Maze Runner).

If you weren’t in your current role, what would you be?
Probably a Health Promoter.

What were you like at school?
I was very sporty and social at school. I played in the premier netball teams and travelled around the North Island competing, which was a big part of my school life. Outside of sport, I liked health and found it the subject I enjoyed most. I really struggled with maths, and I used to dread when the class came up on my timetable.

What’s your karaoke song?
I have never sung Karaoke!

What’s something you’ve always wanted to learn?
Sign Language.

What’s something that really annoys you?
When people cut you off in traffic and then drive slower than the speed limit.

Do you have a treasured possession?
Yes, my dog stuffed animal (woof woof), whom I’ve had since birth. I treasure him so much that I even have him tattooed on my arm!
