Writing Workshop

Evolve's creative writing group meets every Friday afternoon from 4:00-5:00pm in our activity space.
We have been meeting for over 1 year and we held 2 open mic nights in 2009.  Watch this space for more events in 2010!

The group meets weekly to read, write, chat and have fun.  Participants can choose whether they would like to share their own work with the group or just join in discussions (but we do encourage everyone to have a go at some point).

A few examples of things we've worked on are:

• Fiction
• Poetry
• Short stories
• Personal essays
• Writing exercises
• Continuing stories
• Guest speakers
• Attending local book launches & other events
• And much more!

Come along to have some fun and discuss your writing projects with peers, develop your basic writing skills, hone your talents and get feedback on new and old writing projects.

Open to all 10-25 year olds.
