Sex 'n' Respect
This site has a range of information about rights and responsibilities when it comes to sexuality, including how to keep safe, where to get support, and the impact of sexual violence.

A support service for children, young people and their families/whanau through change, loss, trauma and grief - whatever the cause.
Care Cafe
Care Cafe is a network for young people that have experienced the care system. Advice and information about the care system, becoming independant, and an online forum for youth and care workers.

A service that provides information, advice and education about legal rights and obligations.
Citizen's Advice Bureau
An independant community organisations with centres all over the country. CAB can provide information, advice, advocacy and support to individuals about a full range of issues and support services available in your area.
Downtown Community Ministry
A community organisation which provides social support, particularly around homelessness, housing, and benefit advocacy. Also runs a food bank and produces the 'Survival Guide to Wellington' (see website to download).
Lower Hutt Women's Centre
A community resource centre for Women, Teenage Girls and Children, working towards and with, education, empowerment, the promotion of mental health, healing and recovery for all women and families in the community.
Offers a range of services and workshops, for example; counselling, homeopathy, computer access, library, legal advice, self esteem, assertiveness, parenting, art classes, support groups etc.
Wellington Women's Health Collective
Women's health resource centre offering information on women's health concerns, so women can make informed choices about their own health care. Also run a "hot/cold" file of women's comments about doctors and alternative healers. Provides support, advice and counselling. Ph 04 499 7709
