Youth Team

Young people and youth participation are at the core of our service and everything we do.  Evolve's youth team is made up of a group of young people from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds, which also reflects the diversity of young people who access Evolve.

The youth team coordinate our activity space, provide health promotion, run projects and activities, and get involved with the wider community.

We currently have 4 young people on the team:

Hey guys, my name is Abdi and I'm one of the youth support workers at Evolve.
I am originally from Somalia, and have been here too long to remember now!
I grew up in Christchurch, and in my spare time I love playing basketball, kicking back with friends and having laid back time.

I am currently studying a bachelor of commerce majoring in commercial law & HR at Victoria University. What I enjoy most about of evolve is the wonderful people and wicked place! So come in and say hello, we're always here to help at evolve.
